Evgeny Zimin has passed away

On December 28, former Soviet ice hockey player and coach Evgeny Zimin passed away.
During his career, Evgeny was a forward for Lokomotiv Moscow, Spartak Moscow, SKA MVO Tver, Krylya Sovetov Moscow and the Soviet national team, becoming an Olympic champion in 1968 and 1972. He also won the World Championship in 1969 and 1971, alongside scoring the first goal at the 1972 Super Series.
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation extends its sincere condolences to Evgeny's family and friends.
