2018 World Hockey Forum. Day two

In Moscow, the second day of the 2018 World Hockey Forum, which was organised with the support of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, took place.

The day began with a panel discussion concerning the "Sport and education: how to educate a harmonial person in ice hockey" topic. The participants, who were made up of specialists from Russia, Canada, the USA and China, discussed their experiences of working in youth ice hockey in different countries and the balance between the sport and education.

"Does fashion exist in ice hockey? Social and cultural factors of world ice hockey development" was the central topic for another panel discussion in which specialists spoke about relevant issues of popularising ice hockey and the relationship with the public.

The event reached its completion with a master-class held at the Legends Park small arena. The training session was run according to the Red Machine National Development Program and was headed by player development coach Daniel Bochner, Olympic medalist, world champion and NHL Stanley Cup winner Sergei Fyodorov, and other well known specialists.
