The Russian Olympic team made a positive start to the 2018 Germany Cup, defeating the hosts 4:3 in overtime.

Nikolai Demidov, Dmitry Yudin and Andrei Chibisov all managed to score in regulation, before in overtime, defenseman Artyom Zemchyonok netted the winning goal to secure a dramatic 4:3 victory against the Germans!
