In Canada, the under 18 Russian national team performed well in the maiden friendly match, thrashing Switzerland 7:0.
Daniil Guschin, Sergei Alkhimov, Oleg Zaitsev, Yaroslav Likhachyov, Daniil Gutik, Arseniy Gritsyuk and Artemiy Knyazev all scored the goals.
On Monday evening, Russia U18 will begin their Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup campaign.
