Russia U16 testing in Sochi

At the Sirius Educational Centre in Sochi, the under 16 Russian national team and players from federal clubs engaged in theory lessons and training sessions on the ice between the 8th and 11th of June.

The results of the tests give the coaches a chance to assess the physical level of the players. Special technology is used in the process as to make the results as accurate as possible. Times can be tracked to milliseconds.

In connection with the agreement between the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the Talent And Success foundation, the best regional teams under the age of 2003 joined up with the under 16 Russian national team in Sochi. The Russia U16 roster will now be formed based on the tests.
