Pavel Buchnevich made his 15th Russia appearance.

Yegor Yakovlev has now played in 25 World Championship matches, while Sergei Andronov, Alexander Barabanov and Bogdan Kiselevich have competed in 15.

In 24 Russian national team matches, defenseman Nikita Nesterov has 10 (5+5) points.
