Ilya Vorobyov: "We have things to improve on"
04.05.2018
Interim Russian national team head coach Ilya Vorobyov:
- This was only the first match of the competition, it's too early for us to celebrate. We scored some easy goals, but we have things to improve.
- How did the first line play?
- They did a fantastic job today, but this was only the first game.
- What are you not satisfied with?
- The second period. Tomorrow, we will show the guys the video and analyse what happened.
- How important was it that the fans supported you so well?
- The fans' support is always important.
- Forwards scored all of the seven goals. Is this a bad thing?
- I am happy for them, but the team wins together.
- What's the plan before the next match?
- We need to prepare and analyse our mistakes. There are a lot of games, it's tough for the players physically, especially as it's hot inside the stadium.
