Reaction after the U18 World Championship loss against Finland

22.04.2018
Russia U18 goalkeeper Amir Miftakhov:

- This is the World Championship, all matches are difficult. Having played yesterday, this game became even more difficult, and we lost. Nevertheless, nothing terrible happened, we move on. When conceding with only nine seconds left to play in the second period, I was focused on playing well in the remaining time in the match. Thank you to the fans for the support here, it's disappointing to lose when 4:2 up but there is another group stage match coming up.

Russia U18 defenseman Daniil Zhuravlyov:

- Tomorrow, we will have a rest and analyse our mistakes. Nothing is lost, we will play to win against Slovakia. Were we sure about winning when 4:2 up? No, we always play as if the score is 0:0. However, maybe we were tired, Finland didn't have a game yesterday. The coaches told us not to be upset and that everything's fine.
