Euro Hockey Challenge. Russian Olympic team - Germany - 3:4 OT

In Sochi, the Russian Olympic team hosted Germany for the second consecutive Euro Hockey Challenge match between the two sides. The first ended with Russia confidently winning 4:1.
Alexander Khokhlachyov gave Russia an early lead, but the Germans did equalise in a tight first period.
However, Russia pulled away in the second. Alexander Dergachyov and Nikolai Demidov both hit the jackpot, gifting the hosts a 3:1 lead before the crucial frame.
Against the run of play, Germany scored twice to take the match to overtime. Unfortunately, the visitors netted a fourth in the extra period, taking a 4:3 overtime victory against the Russian Olympic team.
