Euro Hockey Challenge. Russian Olympic team - Germany

On April 7, the Russian Olympic team will host Germany in Sochi for the second Euro Hockey Challenge match between the two countries.

Yesterday, Russia achieved a positive result in the first game, earning a thumping 4:1 victory. Artyom Ilenko scored twice, with Kirill Semyonov and Alexei Bereglazov also hitting the target at the Bolshoi Ice Dome in Sochi.

The Russian Olympic team is made up of young, promising players with an average age of 22.5. Alexander Sudnitsin was the goalkeeper for Friday's match, but Ivan Bocharov will be the starting goaltender in today's game.

Every year, the Euro Hockey Challenge takes place as a preparation stage for the upcoming World Championship. The 2018 IIHF World Championship will be held in Denmark between the 4th and 20th of May.

Puck drop is scheduled for 17:00 local time. Match Nash Sport will broadcast in Russia.
