On March 17, Russian Ice Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretiak visited Syzran in Samara Region to open the Vladislav Tretiak Cup among eight teams made up of players born in 2007: TSZVS Novosibirsk, Rus Moscow, Devon Tyumen, SKA-Strelna Saint Petersburg, Molot Perm, Vityaz Podolsk, Kometa Samara and Akuly Krasnodar.
