The Russian national team met with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill

On February 28, the senior men's Russian national team met with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow for a thanksgiving service after the 2018 Olympic Games.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill read a prayer in which he called God's blessing upon Russian Olympic athletes. In addition to the team's players and coaches, Russian Olympic Committee president Alexander Zhukov attended the event.
When speaking afterwards, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill congratulated the team with the victory at the Olympic Games and wished for God to always be next to them.
