Both Pavel Datsyuk and Ilya Kovalchuk have set a new record by competing at their fifth Olympic Games. The previous best of four set by Vladislav Tretiak, Igor Kravchuk, Darius Kasparaitis and Sergei Gonchar has now been beaten.
Sergei Mozyakin has competed in 160 matches for our team, registering 125 (63+52).
Vladislav Gavrikov and Nikolai Prokhorkin made their 13th appearances for our team. Also, Vladislav became our first defenseman to score against Slovakia at the Olympic Games.
In 29 matches, Vyacheslav Voynov has earned ten assists.
Ilya Kovalchuk has played against Slovakia 12 times, more than any other player from our team.
