Russia's players were met by people signing the national anthem

Yesterday, the Russian men's national team flew to Seoul, South Korea, for the 2018 Olympic Games. The departure time was supposed to be 20:45, but the plane actually took off around 90 minutes later. While there was refuelling in Krasnoyarsk, the players slept on the seats.

In Seoul's airport terminal, Russians and South Koreans welcomed the team in national Russian dress and by singing the national anthem. Head coach Oleg Znarok was one of the last to receive his luggage and walk into the terminal, but he answered questions from the media and hurried to the bus. Fans stopped him, however he took the time to speak to them. In the end, national team staff had to politely ask everyone to let the head coach go to the bus with the team.

The evening training session wasn't cancelled. Our players are training at Anyang Halla's home arena which holds 2900 fans. 90% of South Korea's national team is made up of players from this club. Five days will be spent there before a friendly match against South Korea.

Tryamkin - Mozyakin, Kablukov, Shalunov.

Kirill Kaprizov and Vladislav Gavrikov, who received injuries in the match against HC Spartak Moscow, participated in the training session with the main group.
