The U18 women's World Championship is starting in Canada
At 03:30 Moscow time on the ninth of January, the Russian women's junior national team will begin their 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship campaign in Canada.
In Group A along with hosts Canada, the USA and the Czech Republic, Russia will begin their campaign against Canada. Over the past two years these teams have always met, and on both occasions Canada have emerged victorious in dramatic circumstances.
