RIHF specialists are helping Iran prepare for the World Championship

As a part of the cooperation between the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and the Iranian Ice Hockey Association, specialists representing our organisation are helping Iran's national team prepare for the IV Division World Championship, which will be held between the 13th and 19th of April in Yerevan, Armenia.

The Iranians are training under the guidance of head coach Dmitry Mikhailov, assistant Valeri Novikov and coordinator of the scouting and analytical department Vasily Kazanov. The training camp is taking place in the Iranian capital of Tehran from 25 March to 9 April.



During the training camp, the RIHF delegation met with the General Secretary of the Iranian Olympic Committee Mahdi Alinejad and the head of the Iranian Ice Hockey Association Kaveh Sedghi. At the meeting, both sides noted the high level of relations between the organisations, and a mutual desire was expressed to make this cooperation long-term.
