Reaction after the 3x3 President's Sporting Club Cup
07.11.2024
Interviews were taken following the 3x3 President's Sporting Club Cup in Belarus.
Russia U16 head coach Anton Kadeikin:
"In terms of the physical battles, our players lost out to the older opponents. Nevertheless, they all tried their best. In such tournaments, we can look at the qualities of the players who don't play a lot in our normal matches, but I think that the competition was useful for us and interesting for the fans. It was a good experience for the players too."
Russia U16 Vladislav Murzov:
"We enjoyed playing 3x3, you have to move the puck quickly out from defence to attack and use the extra space wisely. It was a bit easier to play the women's team than the Belarusians, the latter were excellent in the final and moved the puck effectively. We will now prepare for the next game of the main competition."
Russia W head coach Alexander Zybin:
"We were certainly a lot better in the second match in comparison to the first. The girls were fully prepared for Kazakhstan, and they competed with plenty of motivation and energy. We've taken both experienced and young players to Minsk for this tournament."
