Vladislav Tretiak spoke with Canadian participants of the 1972 Super Series

Vladislav Tretiak, the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, held an online conversation with Canadian players Peter Mahovlich and Dennis Hull during which they shared their memories of the legendary 1972 Super Series between the USSR and Canada.
Furthermore, they also spoke about the friendly match between the Montreal Canadiens and CSKA Moscow which was held on New Year's Eve in the 1975/1976 campaign.
During the Super Series, Tretiak played from start to finish in all eight games, stopped more than 200 shots and was twice named the best player of the match. Hull became one of the most productive forwards of the Canadian team in the Super Series with four (2+2) point, while Mahlovich, one of the main stars of Montreal in the 1970s, scored against Tretiak in one series match and subsequently dished out an assist against CSKA on New Year's Eve in 1975. Tretiak registered 35 saves in that particular game.
