The under 20 Russian national side thrashed Kazakhstan U20 12:0 in the second match of the Liga Stavok Future Cup at the Sibir Arena.

Before the puck dropped, the opening ceremony of the tournament was held, with the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin speaking to the fans via the screen and the Governor of Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov and the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretiak taking to the ice.
