RIHF youth educational program

Between the 1st and 7th of March, the "Let's Build Our Future Together!" international youth festival took place at the Sirius Educational Centre.
An educational program for children which was organised by Sirius and the "How Leaders Move" Russian youth movement also took place. It was supported by the "Talent and Success" educational foundation.
The educational program was devoted to these following seven topics: “Humanities and Social Sphere”, “Culture, Art, Creativity”, “Media”, “Science and Education”, “Scientific and Technological Creativity”, “Sports and Healthy Lifestyle” and “Ecology and Tourism."
The "Sports and Healthy Lifestyle" topic was covered by six projects, with one of them being the "School of Young Sporting Diplomats" which was created by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF). People from six Russian regions, Algeria, Armenia, Great Britain, Italy and Belarus participated in it.
Specialists representing the RIHF held master-classes, lectures, interactive lessons and discussions. The project's special guest was Sergei Nemchinov, a two-time world champion, a silver medalist of the 1998 Olympic Games, a Russian champion and a winner of the Stanley Cup in the NHL. Nemchinov spoke to the participating children about his life in ice hockey.
