In memory of Valeri Belousov

Today, on December 17th, famous Russian ice hockey coach Valeri Belousov would have turned 75 years of age.

Belousov was mainly known for his notable success with Traktor Chelyabinsk.

Furthermore, it's worth noting that he was a member of the senior Russian national team's coaching staff for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.

Sadly, Belousov passed away on the 16th of April 2015. The Traktor Arena in Chelyabinsk, which is used by Traktor for their home matches in the Kontinental Hockey League, carries Belousov's name in his memory.
