Channel One Cup. Russia 25 - Stars and VHL

Today, on December 14th, Russia 25 will begin the 2023 Channel One Cup campaign against the Stars and VHL team.
The competition is being contested at the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace. The senior Belarusian and Kazakh national teams are also participating in the tournament.
These following players have been called up to the Russia 25 team:
Goalkeepers: Sergei Ivanov (Admiral), Artemiy Pleshkov, Nikita Serebryakov (both SKA).
Defensemen: Timofei Davydov (Severstal), Alexander Yelesin (Lokomotiv), Artyom Zemchyonok, Alexander Nikishin, Artyom Sergeev, Maxim Fedotov (all SKA), Ilya Karpukhin (Traktor), Bogdan Konyushkov (Torpedo), Nikita Lyamkin (Ak Bars), Nikita Smirnov (Dinamo Minsk).
Forwards: Vasily Atanasov (Torpedo), Zakhar Bardakov, Mikhail Vorobyov, Vasily Glotov, Valentin Zykov, Nikolai Polyakov, Sergei Tolchinsky, Marat Khairullin, Andrei Chivilyov (all SKA), Nikita Grebyonkin (Metallurg Magnitogorsk), Nikita Dynyak, Ilya Safonov (both Ak Bars), Nikita Korostelyov (Severstal), Prokhor Poltapov, Maxim Sorkin (both CSKA), Maxim Shabanov (Traktor).

Initially, China were supposed to compete at the tournament, but following their withdrawal they were replaced by the Stars and VHL side. The majority of the team's players are currently playing in the All-Russian Hockey League (VHL).
Puck-drop is scheduled for 18:30 Moscow time. The official website of Channel One will provide a live broadcast in Russia.
