Evgeny Babich is in the Russian Hall of Fame

For the first time, a commerative ring and jersey was gifted to the son and grandson of Soviet ice hockey player Evgeny Babich inside Moscow's Hall of Fame.

Evgeny Babich became an Olympic champion, won the World Championship two times, became a multi USSR champion and won several USSR Cup's.

As a player, Evgeny became a history maker for the USSR, scoring the country's first goal at the Olympic Games in 1956.

The Russian Hall of Fame was created in 2014, and the first ceremony was held on the 17th of February in Sochi during the Olympics.
