A meeting has been held the women's national teams and clubs

A meeting was held between women's national team and club coaches inside the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's office.

The event began with a conversation between senior national team head coach Alexei Chistyakov and under 18 manager Evgeny Bobariko. Several topical issues were discussed, as well as creating a plan for developing women's ice hockey, ice hockey schools, ways to prepare for World Championships and Olympic Games.

Also, for the first time, a similar meeting took place between RIHF representatives and club workers: HC SKIF president Sergei Kolotnev, the head of the ice hockey department for GAU MO and HC Tornado Alexander Skalozubov, coach of RGUFK Alexei Sasin, head coach of HC Agidel Denis Afinogenov, HC Biryusa head coach Alexander Vedernikov, HC Dynamo Saint Petersburg head coach Alexander Zybnin and head coach of HC Arktik-Universitet Andrei Anisimov.

Head coach of the Russian women's national team:

- The format of the event was a friendly meeting, and we managed to cover all the required topics. We now know how to move forward, both in the best interests of country and clubs, and we will try our best to work as to help Russia's to be successful.
