Master-class for referees in Tula

On September 18th, a master-class for referees took place in Tula.

The class was organised by referees of the All-Russian Hockey League (VHL) for regional officials. VHL referees Alexander Samarin and Sergei Kondratyev ran the event.

This season, the refereeing department of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation is continuing to implement a referee monitoring program, with professional officials sharing their experience with regional referees. They spoke about skating techniques, the procedure for staging faceoff draws and how to hone their skills concerning the demonstration of hand gestures.

Furthermore, the VHL referees answered questions concerning various other topics which included how to prepare for matches in the correct manner and sporting psychology.
