After defeating the Volga Federal District 9:4 at the U16 Sirius Cup, head coach of the under 16 Russian national team Pavel Kanarsky shared his emotions:

- It was a tough start for us. Unfortunately, despite having informed our players that they needed to immediately start well, straight away we started to create problems for ourselves. This depends on our psychology. With the future in mind, we will do our best to ensure that our guys started games with more confidence and aggression.
