Having lost to the Boston Pride, the Russian women's national team took on the New York Riveters in their second friendly match on their USA tour.
In comparison to the first game, this one was a better encounter for our girls, but despite Ekaterina Smolentseva's late goal in the third period, the New York Riveters took the win 2:1.
Russia will play New York again at 02:00 Moscow time on the night between the 26th and the 27th of September.
