Igor Efimov will take the Russia under 17 team to the Challenge Cup

At the Challenge Cup, which will take place in Canada between the 30th of October and the 6th of November, the under 17 Russian national team will be coached by Igor Efimov. His assistants will be Andrei Kapranov, Ivan Vydryakov, Sergei Belov and Mikhail Akimov.

Because of his coaching duties with MHL club HC Dynamo Saint Petersburg, usual under 17 head coach Evgeny Filinov will not travel to the competition. This has been agreed upon by his club and the RIHF's board.
