The Cup of the Future will take place in Minsk

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation has taken the decision to move the Black Sea Cup away from Istanbul in Turkey as a consequence of safety concerns for the participants.

Instead, the competition will be named the Cup of the Future and will be staged in the Belarusian capital of Minsk between the 27th and 30th of May. Russia U20 (Reds and Whites), Belarus U20 and Belarus U21 will participate in the tournament.

Furthermore, a 3-on-3 tournament will be staged.
