The RIHF are following the HC Buran situation

On the 6th of December, a letter from ex HC Buran Voronezh players was published stating that they have still not been paid from the 2015/2016 VHL season. Players and coaches of the club have approched the KHL disciplinary committee which will analyse all data at hand.

Before the start of the 2016/2017 campaign, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation recieved a letter of guarantee from HC Buran concerning their participation in the VHL championship with the signature of the deputy chairman of the Voronezh government. However, because of the difficult financial situation, HC Buran cannot fulfill all of their duties.

Due to Buran not paying the players all of their wages for this current season, the RIHF disciplinary committee have warned Buran and prevented them from registering new players. 

In the new future, Voronezh's government will actively try to fix this situation. The RIHF are watching the situation closely.
