A series of Red Machine National Development Program psychological training sessions at the Artek Centre have finished.
Over the past three days, the participants (13-14 year olds) engaged in lessons concerning the importance of psychology in sport, which included speaking to sport psychologists and learning about different methods to realise their potential as athletes.
The deputy head of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's (RIHF) department for the training of referees, Militsa Yasnetskaya, helped the Red Machine National Development Program coaches organise the training sessions.
RIHF specialists noted the involvement of the participants in the event and the large amount of questions concerning the psychological aspects of sport.
