2021 World Championship. Russia - Denmark. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation takes a look at the statistics to emerge from the senior national team's 3:0 victory against Denmark at the 2021 IIHF World Championship in Latvia:
- Russia have now defeated Denmark 11 times in a row at the World Championship, a national record concerning matches at the tournament against a single opponent. Furthermore, this was the second consecutive game when the Russians didn't concede a single goal against the Danes at the competition;
- Goalkeeper Alexander Samonov tallied his maiden World Championship shutout. Moreover, this was his first clean sheet with the senior Russian national team across all competitions. He is the 16th Russian goalkeeper to gain a shutout at a World Championship;
- Forwards Dmitry Voronkov and Ivan Morozov both scored their debut World Championship goals.
