Euro Hockey Tour. Russia - Czech Republic

The senior Russian national team will face the Czech Republic in the concluding match of the Swedish Hockey Games in Malmo, the third stage of the 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Tour.

In the previous two games, the Russians managed to beat Finland 3:2 with Artyom Minulin, Ivan Chekhovich and Vladimir Butuzov scoring, before they subsequently edged past host nation Sweden 2:1 in a penalty shootout. Danila Moiseev equalised during the second period, with Butuzov then grabbing the winning penalty shot and goalkeeper Alexander Samonov impressed with a solid showing.

The Czechs, for their part, lost to the Swedes 2:3 in overtime and then to the Finns by the same scoreline after a shootout.

Puck-drop is scheduled for 14:00 Moscow time. Match TV will provide a live television broadcast in Russia.
