23.01.2020
On January 23, the winners of the 2020 Youth Olympic Games in Switzerland returned to Moscow, with the under 16 Russian national team having claimed ice hockey gold for the first time in history.
Fans and media representatives greeted the players at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.
Russia U16 head coach Vladimir Filatov:
- It was a fantastic experience at the competition, the players have great emotions. Nevertheless, at the moment, I think that we feel tiredness more than anything else. The players were very pumped up for every game. If someone thinks that we won easily, they are wrong. The players deserve praise for their performances on the ice.
