CIBC Canada Russia Series. Team QMJHL - Russia U20 - 3:4

The under 20 Russian national team claimed an exciting 4:3 victory against Team QMJHL in the opening match of the 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series.

Alexander Khovanov initially gave Russia the lead, before three consecutive Canadian goals gave Team QMJHL a 3:1 advantage.

Nevertheless, the Russians weren't prepared to wave the white flag, as Dmitry Zavgorodniy halved the deficit in the second period. Alexander Khovanov and Dmitry Zavgorodniy then scored in the third frame to earn a thrilling 4:3 triumph!
