Mikhail Galinovsky had added artefacts to the Ice Hockey Museum
On the 4th of December, in line with the Dobriy Lyod Cup final in Odintsovo, famous ice hockey player and referee Mikhail Galinovsky presented the Ice Hockey Museum with artefacts from his career. Honoured USSR and Russian Master of Sport Igor Tuzik, Ice Hockey Museum general director Ritta Butova, deputy general director of the Elena and Gennady Timchenko charity Igor Bardachev, children's sledge-hockey tournament managing director Anastasia Bardacheva, Russian sledge-hockey national team head coach Sergei Samoylov and head of the Odintsovo region Andrei Ivanov all took part in the ceremony.
It's planned that already next year, Mikhail's exhibits will be on show for the public in the museum. After the event finished, there was a special friendly match held between sledge-hockey team Finiks and a side made up of Dobriy Lyod Cup players. Finiks won the game 6:5, while Dobriy Lyod took the penalty shootout.
Igor Tuzik, honoured USSR and Russian Master of Sports:
- Through our museums, we can show the next generation how we lived. These new artefacts will also assist the 70th ice hockey anniversary celebrations. Today's friendly match helped Dobriy Lyod Cup players feel the commitment that sledge-hockey players have.
