In memory of Valery Belousov

Today on the 17th of December, honoured Russian ice hockey coach Valery Belousov would have turned 72 years old. With Valery, the country has witnessed some of its greatest ice hockey achievements. His memory lives on.

Played 418 games for Traktor Chelyabinsk, scored 221 goals. Top scorer in the club's history

Scored one goal in eight USSR national team games

Took part in the 1976 Canada Cup

Coached Traktor to the 2013 KHL Gagarin Cup final

1999, 2001 and 2004 Russian champion

Member of the Russian coaching staff in 2013
