Russia U20's roster for the World Junior Championship

Russia under 20 national team head coach Valery Bragin has named his full roster for the 2017 World Junior Championship, which will take place in Canada between the 26th of December and the 5th of January.

Goalkeepers: Anton Krasotkin (HC Loko), Vladislav Sukhachyov (Chelmet Chelyabinsk), Ilya Samsonov (Metallurg Magnitogorsk).

Defensemen: Vadim Kudako (Severstal Cherepovets), Mikhail Sidorov (Ak Bars), Sergei Zborovsky (Regina), Yegor Voronkov (Vityaz), Grigory Dronov (Metallurg Magnitogorsk), Mikhail Sergachyov (Windsor), Yegor Rykov (SKA Saint Petersburg), Artyom Volkov (Dynamo Balashikha).

Forwards: Kirill Kaprizov (Salavat Yulaev Ufa), Kirill Urakov (Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod), Danila Kvartalnov (CSKA Moscow), Alexander Polunin (Lokomotiv Yaroslavl), Kirill Belyaev (Yugra), German Rubtsov (Vityaz Podolsk), Pavel Karnaukhov (CSKA Moscow), Denis Alexeev (Admiral Vladivostok), Danil Yurtaykin (HC Ryazan), Mikhail Vorobyov (Salavat Yulaev Ufa), Yakov Trenin (Gatineau), Denis Guryanov (Texas Stars).

Defensemen Kamil Fazylzyanov (HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk) and Artyom Chmykhov (CSKA Moscow), as well as forwards Nikita Li (Spartak Moscow), Nikita Korostelev (Sarnia) and Artur Tyanulin (Ottawa-67's) have left the camp.

On December 24th, Russia will leave Kingston for Toronto. The tournament's first match will take place on the 26th of December against Canada.
