100th anniversary of Vsevolod Bobrov's birth

Today, the 1st of December 2022, marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of legendary Soviet ice hockey player Vsevolod Bobrov.

Furthermore, in connection with the date, president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretiak opened a special exhibition in his honour. Bobrov was the first captain in history of the USSR senior national team.

After turning his hand to coaching, Bobrov notably took charge of the senior national team at prestigious international tournaments, including the 1972 Super Series.
