2017 Winter Universiade. Russia W - Japan W - 10:1

The Russian student women's national team played their second game of the 2017 Winter Universiade in Kazakhstan against Japan. One major change was made by head coach Alexei Chistyakov, with Nadezhda Morozova gifted her first start of the competition.

Predticably, having beaten the USA 7:1 in game one, Russia were once again dominant in this one. Olga Sosina scored a quick double, setting the tone for the match. 

In the end, Olga Sosina grabbed a hat trick for herself, with Anna Shibanova (3), Elena Dergachyova (2), Evgeniya Dyupina and Alevtina Shtaryova sealing a thumping 10:1 victory! The team's next match will take place on February 4th against China in the semi-final stage.
