VHL club bosses meeting

At Moscow's Ice Hockey Museum, a meeting was held between VHL club bosses. Russian Ice Hockey Federation president Vladislav Tretiak, RIHF executive director Dmitry Kurbatov, deputy RIHF executive chairman Alexei Kireev and the chief VHL competition coordinator Pavel Makarov all took part.

VHL clubs were presented with the RIHF's plan of activities which have been put together by the Russian Federation President. The meeting's participants summed up the first stage of the VHL championship and the VHL first division and discussed ice hockey safety measures. One of the most important topics was the VHL and VHL first division rule book for the 2017/2018 season.

After the meeting's completion, anti-doping specialists spoke with national teams, VHL and NMHL team doctors. Asides from the main topic, they talked about tending to players during matches.

In the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's offices, VHL head coaches met with RIHF refereeing department representatives. They spoke about the procedure when a coach orders a video review in a game, refereeing details in matches and about clubs' cooperation with the RIHF sporting-disciplinary committee.
