Russia U18 have arrived in Slovakia

The under 18 Russian national team have arrived in Slovakia ahead of the upcoming World Championship. Friendly matches will take place against Latvia on April 7th and Canada on April 9th.

These following players have made the trip:

Goalkeepers: Arseniy Akhmetov (Irbis), Maxim Zhukov (Green Bay Gamblers), Dimitriy Rayko (HC MVD), Kirill Ustimenko (Dynamo Saint Petersburg).

Defensemen: Veniamin Baranov (Dynamo Saint Petersburg), Danila Galenyuk (Mamonty Yugry), Georgy Dedov (Russkie Vityazi), Evgeny Kalabushkin (SKA-1946), Alexander Osin (HC MVD), Nikita Okhotyuk (Belie Medvedi), Semyon Perelyaev (Ladya), Mark Rubinchik (Saskatoon Blades), Dmitry Samorukov (Guelph Storm).

Forwards: Yaroslav Alexeev (Sherbrooke Phoenix), Mikhail Bitsadze, Alexei Lipanov (both Dynamo Balashikha), Alexander Klisunov (Russkie Vityaz), Pavel Koltygin (Drummondville Voltigeurs), Daniil Lobanov (Krasnaya Armiya), Kiril Maximov (Niagra Ice Dogs), Maxim Marushev (Irbis), Ivan Muranov, Alexei Toropchenko (both HC MVD), Leonid Nikolenko (Ladya), Andrei Svechnikov (Muskegon Lumberjacks), Kirill Slepets (Loko), Ivan Chekhovich (Baie Comeau), Nikita Shashkov (Sibirskie Snaypery).

The World Championship will start on the 13th of April with a game against Sweden.
