Friendly match. Russia U18 - Canada U18

09.04.2017

On April 9th, the under 18 Russian national team will play a World Championship warm-up game against Canada in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava.

Russia have already competed in one friendly game, beating Latvia 2:1 on Friday. Our players were trailing before the third period, but two late goals from Alexei Lipanov and Yaroslav Alexeev sealed a tough victory.

The Canadians' main danger man is Maxime Comtois, a forward who picked up 51 regular season points with club side Victoriaville Tigres this year (22+29). Last year at the Ivan Hlinka memorial tournament, Maxime tallied up five points (4+1) in just four appearances.

Puck drop is scheduled for 16:30 Moscow time. There will be a live broadcast on fhr.ru.
