Russian national team players received state awards at the Kremlin

On April 26, Russian national team players received state awards at the Kremlin as a consequence of their silver medal earned at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

The players received the "Order of Merit for the Fatherland" award of the first degree.

The awards ceremony was held by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin.

Timur Bilyalov, Alexander Samonov, Alexander Nikishin, Sergei Telegin, Damir Sharipzyanov, Vladimir Tkachyov, Vadim Shipachyov, Vyacheslav Voynov, Stanislav Galiev, Artur Kayumov, Arseniy Gritsyuk, Kirill Semyonov, Nikita Gusev and Alexander Elesin.

Players of CSKA Moscow and Metallurg Magnitogorsk will receive their awards at a later date. They are currently competing against each other in the final of the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs.
