In memory of Vladimir Alfer

Vladimir Alfer, a member of the Russian Ice Hockey Hall of Fame and an Honoured Worker of Physical Culture in the Russian Federation, would today have turned 95 years of age.
Until his sudden death in 2003, Vladimir had been serving as a the president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's Regional Branch and the vice-president of the organisation.
As a coach, he had worked with the likes of Alexei Yashin and Nikolai Khabibulin.
His fantastic work lives on.
