2022 Olympic Games. Quarter-final. ROC - Denmark

The ROC men's ice hockey team will compete against Denmark in the quarter-finals of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
This will be the second meeting between these sides at the competition. In the second round of Group B, ROC managed to earn a slender 2:0 victory, with Pavel Karnaukhov scoring in the 29th minute and fellow forward Kirill Semyonov hitting the empty net in the dying seconds of the third period. Solid goaltender Ivan Fedotov stopped all 16 Danish shots he faced.
ROC finished in first place of the group seven points, with Denmark only one point behind in second.
In the Round of 16, the Danes coped with the challenge of Latvia, emerging victorious by a score of 3:2.
Our players tallied two wins against Switzerland (1:0) and Denmark in the group before conceding a thrilling 5:6 overtime defeat to the Czech Republic. Incidentally, the Czechs bowed out of the tournament on Tuesday, suffering a 2:4 setback to the Swiss.
