The men's ROC ice hockey national team held the maiden training session in Beijing ahead of the start of the 2022 Olympic tournament in China.

A few members of the team didn't participate in the training as a consequence of taking positive coronavirus tests upon arrival. However, according to the management, the results were borderline.

"There were some borderline tests, but we have received information that they are now negative," noted head coach Alexei Zhamnov.
