The women's national team registered 19 players for the 2022 Olympic Games

At this moment in time, 19 players of the women's national team have been registered for the upcoming 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

The players had spent a period in isolation as a consequence of positive coronavirus tests. Forward Ilona Markova will not participate at the tournament following a positive PCR test during the training camp.

Registered players:

Goalkeepers: Maria Sorokia, Darya Gredzen.

Defenders: Yulia Smirnova, Maria Pechnikova, Nina Pirogova, Elena Provorova, Anna Shibanova, Anna Savonina.

Forwards: Valeria Pavlova, Fanuza Kadirova, Polina Bolgareva, Ekaterina Dobrodeeva, Veronika Korzhakova, Alexandra Vafina, Oksanda Bratishcheva, Elena Dergachyova, Viktoriya Kulishova, Polina Luchnikova, Anna Shokhina.

The team's first game of the competition will be held at 07:05 Moscow time on Friday against Switzerland.
