Boris Shagas has passed away

Boris Shagas, one of the first ice hockey scouts in Russia, has sadly passed away in the 81st year of his life.
He worked for over 40 years with CSKA Moscow, discovering the likes of Vyacheslav Bykov, Igor Larionov, Sergei Makarov, Alexander Mogilny, Sergei Fyodorov and Vladimir Malakhov who all subsequently became world stars of the game.
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation extends its deepest condolences to Boris' family and friends.
