The countdown has started for the 2023 World Junior Championship!

On December 26, countdown clocks for the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship were unveiled in both Novosibirsk and Omsk.

In Novosibirsk, the ceremony took place on Theatre Square in front of the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. It was be attended by the Governor of Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov, the Mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot and the Deputy Executive Director of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) Alexander Kiknadze.



In Omsk, the ceremony was staged on Cathedral Square, with the festivities beginning in front of the Assumption Cathedral.



President of the RIHF Vladislav Tretiak will speak at the events via video link.
